Becoming a foster parent is not something to be thought of lightly. As a foster parent you are providing care and comfort to a neglected tattered tail. Most of the rescues animals that come to us are very timid and unsure of their surroundings. A foster family provides a safe haven while we search for their forever home.
If you are considering become a foster home please keep in mind the following. Dog rescues require adequate space to play and socialize and a secure yard space. Cat rescues require a safe, secluded, and adequate size space that allows them to
acclimate slowly and have healthy play time.
The first step in becoming a foster family is to fill out our Foster Application. Second, step is to meet with two TTAR board members and finally a home visit. All of these steps help us feel confident that we are placing rescues in a safe and loving temporary home.
